This is another work in process.   Started two days ago with an underpainting and had to let the first layer dry.  I then start to add a second layer with brushes.  Final layer is with a palette knife.  I work from top to bottom.  Bottom area is still in process.  

I have a black and white copy of picture for values.  Also a color copy for reference although I do change things for composition.

First painting after 3 months of rehab after hip replacement surgery.  Two years ago I stated that I would keep this up.... this year I will try.
